Senator Sylvi Berharap Proyek LEZ Dapat Dilaksanakan di Semua Wilayah di Jakarta

Senator Sylvi Hopes LEZ can Be a Pilot for All Areas of Jakarta

My hope is this revitalization can also be implemented in other areas of Jakarta

Senator in the Jakarta Regional Representatives Council (DPD) Sylviana Murni strongly supports the revitalization of the Kota Tua as a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) pilot project.

"My hope is this revitalization can also be implemented in other areas of Jakarta, where urban forests can be used as models for low emission zones. This is very good, a step that must be done collaboratively," she expressed, Wednesday (8/3).

Sidewalk Revitalization in Kota Tua Area Almost Complete

According to her, development should always involve the central government, local government, private sector, and the community.

"This is not participatory if the community is not involved. Every ASN in Jakarta must be a public relation. Socialization of related SKPD must be massive. I have also not stopped being a public relations officer for the Jakarta administration," she expressed.

She added that if it was done well, the socialization program could be carried out without spending a lot of money

To smoothen LEZ program, the administration would get positive support from the community.

"It's relatively difficult but the people are smart. But they need to be reminded constantly," she closed.
